Tom Beaty, Principal - Beaty’s Building Ventures, Inc.
Tom Beaty is President of Beaty’s Building Ventures, Inc. (BBV), a certified Small Business Enterprise (SBE) in the State of California. Based in Los Angeles, California, BBV is a firm that provides real estate development services for owners and clients; including program, construction, and project management supporting clients across the country.
Tom is an accomplished Real Estate professional with over 30 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate Development, Project Development, Construction Management, and Project Management; working with large and dynamic construction management, real estate development, and general construction firms including Atlas Capital Group, Eastern Real Estate, Parsons, Shapell Properties, Kiewit, Cousins Properties, and Skanska. As Owner’s Representative, Tom has successfully managed multi-million dollar lifestyle retail, mixed-use development and industrial renovation projects and as General Contractor has managed major infrastructure and healthcare projects.
Tom enjoys assisting communities and continues to be a compassionate supporter of many charities. Currently Tom is mentoring college STEM students as part of Bridge-to-Connect (Bridge-to-Connect.org STEM); and enjoys successfully supporting students as they prepare for and transition into meaningful careers. Tom’s previous involvement in community projects include the design and installation of bike racks that double as street art in East Atlanta Village. Tom has also contributed to Prototypes Rehabilitation Center in Los Angeles; where as a member of their 2013 Charity Golf Tournament Committee he raised money for women who are rearing children while recovering from addiction. Since 2014 as project manager, Tom facilitates the design, permitting and development of a sustainable aquaponics educational garden at LAUSD Santee High School in downtown Los Angeles. Tom is passionate about art, community and developments; and how they blend in our cultural forefront. These passions and his interest in supporting education, are helping create our next generation of leaders.
